Meet Men Cai Qing Nian

Men Cai Qing Nian makes homestyle Sichuan dishes using braising techniques. They keep the traditional taste but make it modern—perfect for young generations.


The founder, Mr. Zhang Kui, started the brand in 2015 with a simple goal:

You can watch your food being braised in the open kitchen. Best of all—meals are ready in just 3 minutes!

Butter

Pickles

All are top quality. The chilies come from the Three Gorges region, and the pickles are from Fuling, famous in China.


At Men Cai Qing Nian, you can braise anything you like!


Must-Try Dishes

1. Spicy Braised Chicken (Yao Mei Er Laziji)

Launched nationwide on September 7th, this dish is a must-try. Tender braised chicken with red chilies—colorful and flavorful. Made with free-range chicken. Spicy, chewy, and delicious.


2. Pickled Mustard Chicken Pot

The pickles are made in Meizhou in an old-fashioned way. The chicken is free-range and slow-cooked for over 8 hours. The soup is rich and full of flavor. You might even like the pickles more than the chicken!


3. QQ Tofu

Made from soy protein, this tofu is bouncy, chewy, and never breaks apart—no matter how long it’s cooked. Rich in protein and great for all ages.


4. Fans & Baby Cabbage with Garlic

A perfect veggie dish. Garlic and chili give the fans a strong flavor, while the baby cabbage adds a light sweetness. Topped with green onion—tasty and straightforward.


5. Golden Sour & Spicy Fish

The soup is the star here—warm, sour, and a little spicy. The fish is boneless and super tender. Pour the soup over rice for an extra treat!
